Product Description
Feature
Cobalt is one of the few metals that can maintain magnetism once magnetized. The coercive force of magnetic steel containing 60% cobalt is 2.5 times higher than that of general magnetic steel. In a vibration environment, general magnetic steel loses almost 1/3 of its magnetism. The cobalt steel only loses 2%-3.5% of its magnetic properties. Due to its superior magnetic properties, cobalt is widely used in the manufacture of high-performance magnetic materials. CoNiCrMo alloy has the advantages of good fatigue resistance and high tensile strength, so it is suitable for applications that require a long life without fracture or stress fatigue, such as artificial joints at the hip joint. It is useful for deep implants embedded in the femur. This advantage is important for this difficult and expensive operation in bone marrow catheters.
Application field
Used for 3D printing applications, powder metallurgy, injection molding, hot isostatic pressing, spraying, welding repair, etc.
