Product introduction:
Ferrotungsten smelting ferrotungsten is an alloy of tungsten and iron. It is used as an alloy additive of tungsten element in steelmaking and casting. Ferrotungsten is one of the most important alloy elements in the production of special steel, and is widely used in the production of high-speed tool steel, alloy structural steel, magnetic steel, heat-resistant steel and stainless steel. Tungsten in steel can combine with other elements to form complex carbides, which can refine the grain of steel, thus improving the red hardness, wear resistance and impact strength of steel. Production process:
The agglomeration method adopts an open electric furnace that can move on the track and the upper section of the furnace body can be disassembled, using carbon as the reducing agent. The mixed furnace charge composed of refined tungsten ore, asphalt coke (or petroleum coke) and slag making agent (bauxite) is added to the furnace in batches. The metal refined in the furnace is generally viscous. With the increase of thickness, the lower part gradually solidifies. Stop the furnace when the furnace is full, pull out the furnace body, and remove the upper furnace body to condense the agglomeration. Then take out the clot for crushing and finishing; Picking out edges, slag and unqualified parts for remelting
